Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare has rolled out a new version of its Impax cardiovascular product. According to the company, Impax CV has been expanded to interface with Davis, Calif.-based Cedaron Medical Inc.’s CardiacCare solutions for cardiology outcomes data collection and national database reporting.
Agfa says the new product will allow clinical users to collect procedural information and automatically import the required data to the American College of Cardiology National Cardiovascular Data Registry, the Society for Thoracic Surgeons National Database, and a number of state and provincial registries and databases. The company touts its solution for providing image and procedural report management for invasive cardiac, thoracic and vascular procedures. Agfa says, in addition to registry support, Cedaron is also providing clinical data users with tools to query, benchmark, and report on the collected results.
