Illinois Valley Community Hospital (Peru, Ill.) has ordered two of Carestream's digital radiography systems: a Kodak Directview DR 3000 and a Kodak Directview DR 7500.

According to Carestrean, a provider of dental and medical imaging systems, the hospital also purchased the Kodak Directview Capture Link System, which links Directview CR and DR systems. This software delivers the ability to integrate CR images with DR studies and perform cassette processing and image review at any CR system, says the company.

The hospital will use the DR 3000 system to conduct x-ray exams on its ambulatory patients, and will use the DR 7500 system to capture exams for trauma patients, says Carestream (Rochester, N.Y.).
