Two Alabama-based healthcare facilities have signed contracts to install NovaRad's imaging solution, NovaPACS.

The facilities are:

- 100-bed Andalusia Regional Hospital in Andalusia, Ala.

- 106-bed Vaughn Regional Medical Center in Selma, Ala.

According to NovaRad, NovaPACS is an enterprise-level picture archiving and communications system (PACS) offering image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and seven-year onsite archive with offsite emergency back-up.

NovaRad, a provider of PACS, RIS, CR and peripherals to small and medium-sized hospitals and radiology centers, is based in American Fork, Utah.
