The University of Michigan Health System (UMHS) in Ann Arbor has selected Medseek to standardize the Web sites of its three hospitals and multiple medical departments onto one Web portal platform.

Medseek is a provider of e-health solutions based in Birmingham, Ala.

According to Medseek, the new site is designed to cross promote specific departments, programs and services, offer evidence-based medical information from Boise, Idaho-based Healthwise, and deliver targeted health news, newsletters, health tips, and other Web-related pages to help consumers manage their healthcare needs.

UMHS will deploy SiteMaker E, Medseek's enterprise content management system (CMS) to build and manage all system Web sites, and the HealthwiseKnowledgebase accredited online consumer health content resource, says Medseek.
