Hawthorn Medical Selects Documentation Solution

Hawthorn Medical Associates (New Bedford, Mass.) has selected ProVation Medical software for its multi-specialty nursing and physician procedure documentation and coding.

The software, from Minneapolis-based Wolters Kluwer Health, will be installed at Hawthorn’s new ambulatory surgery center in April 2008. It will be used to document gastroenterological, general surgery, orthopedic, otolaryngological, and urologic procedures, according to the company.
