Dallas-based Parkland Hospital and Health System is deploying a suite of administrative systems from St. Paul, Minn.-based Lawson Software to help automate manual processes, simplify reporting and reduce supply costs, says the company.

The 685-bed health system is implementing Lawson S3 Enterprise Financial Management, Supply Chain Management and Enterprise Performance Management Suites, including Lawson Business Intelligence and Lawson Strategic Sourcing.

Parkland Hospital and Health System operates Parkland Memorial Hospital, which houses a Level I trauma center and the nation’s second-largest regional burn center. It is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
