Lehigh Valley Taps Patient and Asset Tracking Software

Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pa. has implemented Amelior ORTracker from Mission Viejo, Calif.-based Patient Care Technology Systems in its perioperative department.

The tracking system was deployed to help improve the efficiency of surgical care by enabling caregivers to visualize the real-time care status of patients and the location of department resources, says the company.

The Cedar Crest location is the first of three Lehigh Valley Hospital facilities that plan to install the software.
