Piedmont Hospital and Piedmont Fayette Hospital are implementing RES-Q's optional Self-scheduling Module with the RES-QLabor Resource Management system.
According to RES-Q (Calabasas, Calif.), itsLabor Resource Management is a Windows-based, Web-enabled system for staffing and scheduling. With the optional Self-scheduling Module, employees can log on and view their departments' schedules and select their own shifts or propose exchanging shifts with colleagues, says the company. The department manager logs on to the management view to review and approve shift requests and finalize schedules, which are then automatically formatted and sent to employees.
