Clalit Health Services (Israel) has selected Carestream Health’s (Rochester, N.Y.) PACS, RIS and central archiving solution to be deployed across all of Clalit’s hospitals and imaging centers by Algotec, a fully owned subsidiary of Carestream Health.

At Clalit, the imaging and archiving solution will provide more than 1,400 sites with access to the system and will manage more than five million procedures annually, says the company.

As the second largest HMO worldwide, Clalit Health Services delivers care through a nationwide network of 14 hospitals, 39 imaging centers, 1,400 clinics, 400 pharmacies, 37 children’s health centers and 32 women’s health centers.
