The Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, a New York-based not-for-profit health system serving the South and Central Bronx area, will implement Eclipsys' Sunrise Clinical Manager integrated platform.

According to Eclipsys (Boca Raton, Fla.), Bronx-Lebanon will deploy several modules of its clinical system, including Sunrise Acute Care, Sunrise Emergency Care, Sunrise Ambulatory Care, Sunrise Critical Care, Sunrise Pharmacy, Knowledge-Based Medication Administration, and Knowledge-Based Charting. In addition, the hospital will implement Eclipsys' Sunrise Patient Registration and Sunrise Enterprise Scheduling solutions, says the company.

Eclipsys contends the system will connect caregivers across the enterprise and in the community, and will leverage the evidence-based order sets in Eclipsys Knowledge-Based CPOE to help drive adherence to standard practices.
