Rochester, N.Y.-based-Carestream Health Inc. says it has rolled out a new version of its digital radiography system, Kodak DirectViewDR 3500, replacing the DR 3000 platform. According to Carestream, the system offers a small footprint, functionality and customizable digital radiograph convenience for a broad range of healthcare facilities including hospitals, outpatient imaging centers and specialty clinics.

The company says new capabilities include:

· Optional pre-programmed auto-positioning
