The Stevens Healthcare Educational Partnership (SHEP), based in Hoboken, N.J., has been selected by Saint Barnabas Health Care System (SBHCS), the state's largest healthcare system with more than 20,000 employees and six major medical centers, as their sole partner to provide program design, faculty and training for their renowned Leadership Institute.

Stevens faculty have been working for some time to build a comprehensive program designed to develop a new generation of leaders for New Jersey's foremost healthcare system in areas such as change management, systems integration and care team development. Starting in September, Stevens faculty will work in concert with SBHCS executives to deliver this vanguard curriculum to a selected cadre of SBHCS managers and directors from across the statewide system.

The SBHCS Leadership Institute has previously worked with several other major universities, but made the decision to now partner solely with Stevens based on the Institute's reputation for innovative, hands-on, practical education, as well as its ongoing relationship with SHEP.
