Nine Pennsylvania hospitals are implementing Sentri7 from Bellevue, Wash.-based Pharmacy OneSource, Inc. to improve infection control and prevention in their facilities.

Sentri7 is a surveillance system that continuously analyzes data stored in disparate clinical information systems and highlights at-risk patients in a password-protected dashboard, aiding in early intervention, according to the company. The dashboard is organized to assist staff with the goal of reducing infections for more patients.

The solution can also assist in state-mandated public reporting of infections, it touts.

Hospitals that are adopting Sentri7 include: Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Easton Hospital, Phoenixville Hospital, Brandywine Hospital, Chestnut Hill Health System, Jennersville Regional Hospital, Berwick Hospital Center, Lock Haven Hospital, and Sunbury Community Hospital.
