Jefferson Community Health Centerof Fairbury, Neb. has implemented IntelliDOT Corp. of San Diego’s medication administration product.

The 25-bed hospital rolled out IntelliDOT bedside medication administration, which the company says integrates with Jefferson’s core McKesson Horizon pharmacy system.

Pharmacy orders entered into the McKesson system are sent via HL7 to the IntelliDOT system, which then appear on the nurse’s IntelliDOT wireless handheld device, the company touts. Data elements include: patient demographic and identification information, patient allergy information and dose amounts.
