The Brighton, Mass.-based Mount Auburn Cambridge Independent Practice Association, Inc. (MACIPA) has selected eClinicalWorks’ (Westborough, Mass.) unified electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) solution for its 18 sites.
The EMR and PM solutions will interface with the IPA’s Meditech and IDX systems. eClinicalWorks says it is also working with MACIPA on interfaces with Meditech to streamline sending and receiving lab orders and results.
As the project advances, eClinicalWorks claims that its Electronic Health eXchange (eEHX) will enhance communication between primary care and specialist physicians through the Physician Portal.
