The Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) has selected MEDecision Inc.'s Patient Clinical Summary (PCS) to be deployed in a 12-month pilot program aimed at improving care for the health plan's 700,000 plus members.

MEDecision (Wayne, Pa.), a provider of software, services and clinical content to healthcare payers, says PCS is designed to analyze data, automate payer workflow processes, and electronically connect patients, providers and payers to give each a common view of the patient's medical history.

HMSA is a nonprofit, mutual benefit association, headquartered in Honolulu, Oahu.
