The Hospital of Central Connecticut (New Britain, Conn.) has selected Boston-based Amicas to provide image management solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, the hospital will utilize new, Web-based technology for integrated reading, productivity, and critical results management initiatives. Included in the agreement are Amicas PACS, Amicas Reach, and Amicas RadStream solutions.

The Hospital of Central Connecticut, which performs 200,000 radiology procedures per year, is comprised of the 330-bed general campus in New Britain, the 84-bed Bradley Memorial campus in Southington, and six outpatient imaging satellites serving several hundred physicians throughout central Connecticut.
