McKesson Unveiling Release of Information Solution

McKesson is introducing Horizon Patient Folder Release of Information, a tool designed to help hospitals and medical practices increase efficiencies and create revenue-generating opportunities by centralizing and simplifying the electronic release of patient records.

The solution, which is currently in beta trials and set for commercial availability later this year, automates many of the manual steps associated with the release of information process, says the company, enabling administrators to either bring release of information management back in-house or streamline their current process.
