The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will use Silver Springs, Md.-based Oleen, an implementation partner of Cambridge, Mass.-based InterSystems, to provide the InterSystems CACHÉ-based SurgiDat system.

InterSystems develops database and integration software. Its product line includes the InterSystems CACHÉ object database, InterSystems Ensemble rapid integration platform, and InterSystems HealthShare platform for regional and national electronic health records.

Oleen is an IT consulting firm . SurgiDat Corporation, a part of Medical Systems Design (MSD) Pty. Ltd. is an InterSystems application partner that specializes in software solutions for inventory automation in healthcare.
