Rochester RHIO, a regional health information organization connecting providers in upstate New York, has expanded to include six emergency departments. Clifton Springs, F.F. Thompson, Lakeside Memorial, Rochester General, United Memorial Medical Center, and Wyoming Community Hospitals can now view data from providers across the region using the Rochester RHIO, which is powered by San Jose, Calif.-based Axolotl Corp.’s Elysium Exchange.

Using Rochester RHIO’s technology platform, providers and physicians can view, manage and exchange patient information, including lab reports, test results, medication history, insurance information, radiology images and reports, hospital discharge summaries, and critical medical information from EDs, says the company.

More than 20 health care organizations in Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates counties provide patient information to Rochester RHIO, it says.
