Carestream Launches Updated RIS

Carestream Health Inc.(Rochester, N.Y.), a provider of medical imaging systems, has launched a pre-configured version of its Kodak Carestream Radiology Information System (RIS).

According to Carestream, the solution enables small to medium-sized hospitals to achieve desired workflow efficiencies and carry out comprehensive reporting.

An optional mammography module includes specialized scheduling, patient communication and reporting capabilities, says the company.
