Floral Park, N.Y.-based Meta, Inc. is introducing MetaCare CPOE, a system designed to close the loop on patient safety with the integration of a single set of databases.

The solution enables users to view patient profiles and provides decision support for all order types with results reporting available via a Web connection, according to the company.

A component of the MetaCare Enterprise patient safety solutions, MetaCare CPOE operates on a single database platform that is shared by all MetaCare products, including the MetaCare Rx Pharmacy management system, MetaCare eMAR bar code medication administration system and MetaCare Intellidocs electronic forms management solution, it says.
