Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers (Morris, Ill.) has installed Agfa HealthCare's integrated radiology and cardiology solutions, Impax picture archiving and communications system (PACS) and cardiovascular image and information management solution (CVIS).
According to Agfa, Impax is a Web-deployable radiology solution designed to improve workflow through management of patient images and information data.
The Agfa HealthCare cardiovascular solution includes cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and electrocardiogram data management, to create a single integrated cardiovascular information system, Agfa says.
When Impax is combined with CVIS, images are stored in a central archive solution, making information from both disciplines available throughout the enterprise, contends the Mortsel, Belgium-based company.
