Community Health Systems (CHS, based in Brentwood, Tenn.,) with more than 125 hospitals in 28 states, has signed an agreement with San Francisco-based McKesson Corporation for a physician portal, EMR, and performance analytics tools across most facilities.
According to McKesson, most CHS facilities should receive HorizonWP Physician Portal, which gives physicians “anytime, anywhere” access to patient information such as vital signs, medication orders, test results and diagnostic images. CHS will also deploy McKesson’s enterprise document imaging system and analytics tools.
