Huntington Hospital (Pasadena. Calif.) selected ProVation Order Sets from Minneapolis-based Wolters Kluwer Health to automate the creation, deployment and maintenance of evidence-based order sets.

The electronic order set solution will be integrated into Huntington's CPOE system, providing clinicians with point-of-care access to intuitive clinical decision support to advance the practice of evidence-based medicine, says the company.

Located in Pasadena, Calif., the 636-bed not-for-profit Huntington Hospital is home to the only trauma center and neonatal intensive care unit in San Gabriel Valley. Huntington is also an active teaching hospital with a Graduate Medical Education program with tracks in internal medicine and general surgery.
