New Radiology Reporting Links Speech Engine
U.K.-based GE Healthcare rolled out the Centricity Precision Reporting solution. The product, according to the company, weds radiology with speech.
Embedded in Centricity RIS-IC, the product uses advanced speech technology to better understand the natural flow of language for more accurate speech recognition without extensive training or workflow changes, the company touts. The technology creates structured documents that capture and store not just text, but discrete data elements based on the clinical document architecture standard.
