Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center, a 321-bed community hospital located in East Patchogue, N.Y., recently went live with Soarian, a patient-care information system provided by Siemens Medical Solutions.

According to Siemens, Soarian enables medical staff to access electronic patient records, including images and test results, from any workstation within the hospital, home, or office computer.

Soarian combines clinical, financial and operational processes to support clinical decision-making, says the Malvern, Pa.-based company.
