St. Joseph Health System, an integrated delivery system located in Orange, Calif., is deploying Accenx Exchange from Irvine, Calif.-based Accenx, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chicago-based Initiate Systems Inc., to aid in the integration of its hospitals with affiliated physicians.

According to the company, St. Joseph selected Accenx Exchange for its fully-managed, software-as-a-service platform, which it says will help the organization meet its timeline without cutting into personnel resources or sacrificing the quality of the integration.

St. Joseph Health System provides medical services within three geographic regions: Northern California, Southern California and West Texas/Eastern New Mexico. The 3,607-bed system includes 14 hospitals and three home health agencies, as well as hospice care, outpatient services and physician organizations.
