The Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Hospital is deploying Cambridge, Mass.-based LiveData’s OR-Dashboard to advance patient safety and increase operating room efficiency at the medical center.

A joint system that includes displays and infrastructure components developed by KARL STORZ (Tuttlingen, Germany) Endoscopy-America, Inc., LiveData OR-Dashboard captures, synchronizes, and integrates data medical devices or systems, then transforms and presents it as meaningful information on graphic displays, in step with the perioperative workflow, says the company.

OR-Dashboard also offers the OR team real-time tools, such as checklists and reminders, along with display of essential case information, it touts.

Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 1,017-bed facility that is part of John Hopkins Medicine is a $4.1 billion system that also includes the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Bayview Medical Center and Howard County General Hospital.
