    San Diego-based Premier Purchasing Partners will provide Somerset, N.J.-based Wellsoft EDIS to emergency departments in Premier’s alliance of more than 1,550 member hospitals.

    Premier Purchasing Partners serves 1,700 U.S. hospitals and more than 49,000 other healthcare sites, and is one of the leading healthcare purchasing networks. A subsidiary operates one of the nation's largest policy-holder owned, hospital professional liability risk-retention groups.

    In the recently released 2007 Top 20 Best in KLAS Report, Wellsoft was ranked #1 for the 11th time in the Emergency Department Information Systems category.
