Parkland Health & Hospital System (Dallas) has signed a contract with MRO (King of Prussia, Pa.) for its Audit Tracker Online, a payer audit management program.
According to the company, Parkland will increase efficiency of data entry, coordinate audit and denials processing workflow, while facilitating the capture of requested documentation and auditor-related correspondence. The customizable software will allow the facility to manage patient information, workflow, correspondence, audit determinations and the various stages of each appeals process in one central, secure location, it says.
In addition to tracking all aspects of audit processes, the hospital system will use the application’s full reporting capabilities to create detailed trend and error analyses in an effort to enhance the claims process and improve clinical and financial information, it adds.
Parkland is the public hospital system of Dallas County, with 672 beds, a Level I trauma center, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and the second largest civilian burn center in the United States.
