Oakwood Southshore Medical Center (Trenton, Mich.) has standardized its emergency department via a Web browser-based solution from Arlington, Tex.-based Emergisoft that the company says automates each step of the patient management and patient documentation process in the ED.

Oakwood Southshore is a 168-bed facility that receives close to 26,000 Emergency Department visits a year. As part of the Oakwood Healthcare System it now will now be able to share the information across all five emergency departments in the system, says the company.
