Intermountain Healthcare, a 21-hospital network based in Salt Lake City, has formed a multi-year agreement with Alpharetta, Ga.-based Novo Innovations to deliver reports and results directly into a variety of ambulatory vendors’ EMRs.

Intermountain has already deployed Novo software to interface the hospital’s systems with EMRs located in several affiliated physician practices and clinics throughout the system. With the implementation, the hospital network is on track to achieve its goal of interfacing electronic lab results with 200 physicians in 2008, says the company.
