Eclipsys Acquiring Patient Flow Company

Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corporation is acquiring Farmington, Conn.-based Premise Corporation, a privately held provider of patient flow software, for $38.5 million.

The transaction has been approved by the Boards of Directors of Eclipsys and Premise and is expected to close within 15 days.
