The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (Washington, D.C.), is sponsoring a town hall meeting that will focus on how medical identity theft should be addressed in the health IT environment.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Federal Trade Commission Conference Center in Washington, D.C. Healthcare stakeholders from the public and private sectors will share their knowledge and experience and gain insights into trends and future developments, says the org.
