Coordinated Health, a provider of sports and musculoskeletal medicine in Allentown, Pa., selected Chicago-based Allscripts EHR and PM solutions to connect and automate its 50 physicians and 50 mid-level providers and physical therapists across eight locations, the company says.
According to Allscripts, Coordinated Health decided to implement an EHR in part due to financial incentives that will soon be available under ARRA.
Coordinated Health operates a Surgical Specialty Hospital in Bethlehem that combines outpatient facilities with 20 inpatient rooms for patients who require extensive surgery, as well as physician offices and rehabilitation and imaging centers.
