Halogen Set to Release eAppraisal Healthcare

Ottawa, Ontario-based Halogen Software Inc., a provider of Web-based employee performance and talent management software, plans to release eAppraisal Healthcare 8.1 this summer.

According to Halogen, its software enables hospitals to develop and assess nurses, while also providing access to reports and detailed information for The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) surveyors and organizations as a whole.

eAppraisal Healthcare supports position specific checklists with areas to collect verification method, initials, date of observation, and the assignment of action plans to address competency gaps, contends the company. Documents are accessible to performance evaluators says Halogen, and reporting tools enable managers to track completed checklists and identify potential high performers and competency gaps.
