Genesis Physicians Group Endorses EMR to Texas IPA

Genesis Physicians Group , a Dallas-based independent practice association (IPA), signed an agreement endorsing Atlanta-based Eclipsys ’ PeakPractice solution as an EMR system of choice for more than 1,450 physician members.

Under the deal, IPA physicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area who purchase Eclipsys EMR software will receive a substantial discount in order to spur physician adoption of enabling technologies that support enhanced patient care and administrative efficiency.

Founded in 1986, Dallas-based Genesis Physicians Group is an independent practice association with 30 percent of its physicians in primary care and the remainder in specialty practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
