Harrison Medical Center (Bremerton, Wash.) has agreed to use Barrington Ill.-based GE Healthcare for a broad portfolio of healthcare IT solutions.

Harrison Medical Center (Bremerton, Wash.) has agreed to use Barrington Ill.-based GE Healthcare for a broad portfolio of healthcare IT solutions.

The comprehensive deal, the company says, includes the GE Centricity’s EMR, patient communication services, ePrescribing, quality outcomes measurement, and revenue cycle management tools.

According to the company, Harrison plans to roll out Centricity EMR and additional Centricity solutions to 25 of its employed physicians who provide care in the organization's community care clinics, and offer Centricity EMR and Centricity solutions for document management, eHealth and clinical messaging to over 100 physicians by funding the maximum amount available under regulations of the Stark Relaxation Law.

Harrison Medical Center is a non-profit community hospital and Level III Trauma Center serving a four-county region west of Seattle. The system includes four major campuses, and the organization plans to open an additional campus later this year.
