Saint Paul, Minn.-based Lawson Software has launched QuickStep Healthcare, a pre-configured enterprise resource planning (ERP) application package that delivers software solutions designed to help healthcare providers achieve faster business results.

According to Lawson, QuickStep Healthcare facilitates the following functions:

· Optimizes inventory levels

· Processes new hires, creating HR management reports, and administering benefits and employee absence plans

· Establishes supply chain visibility to manage vendor agreements

· Minimizes time and cost needed to implement new technology

· Keeps track of financial information to meet compliance needs

· Establishes a single source of information

According to Lawson, the application suite is configured to address key business processes, while integrating human resources, finance and supply chain management solutions.
