Carroll Hospital Center, an acute care facility in Westminster, Md., is rolling out Amplifi, a Web-based tool from Pharmacy OneSource, Inc. (Bellevue, Wash.), to help manage formulary and communicate medication information throughout the hospital.

According to the company, Amplifi is communications application with integrated drug information that will enable staff to easily update and access formularies in print, on the web, and on handhelds.

Founded in 1961 as Carroll County General Hospital, Carroll Hospital Center is a nonprofit, 218-bed facility offering programs and services like the Family Birthplace, the new Dixon Outpatient Radiology Center, the Carroll County Cancer Center and The Women’s Place.
