Boston Medical Center (BMC) has selected Kryptiq’s eScriptMessenger (eSM) as its enterprise e-Prescribing solution.

The implementation will enable BMC prescribers to securely send prescriptions from within GE’s Centricity EMR directly to retail pharmacy computers using the Pharmacy Health Information Exchange operated by SureScripts, according to the Portland, Ore.-based company.

The solution can also work to improve patient safety while helping BMC to comply with upcoming federal prescribing mandates including the Medicaid tamper-resistant prescription pad rule, says the company.
