Plantation MRI, a diagnostic imaging center in Plantation, Fla., has selected Miami-based RIS Concepts to digitally support the tracking and reporting of diagnostic exams.
According to RIS Concepts, its solution, RCI-RIS, is a browser-based multi-facility application that supports a range of RIS features such as real-time scheduling, dictation, transcription, patient demographics, document scanning and billing. In addition, RCI-RIS also offers a proprietary HL7 engine, providing integration with other healthcare IT applications, says the company.
RIS Concept's solution will also allow the imaging center to implement a modality work list and a Web-based twain scanning for comprehensive digital information storage, contends the company.
