University of Minnesota Physicians has selected Meta Health Technology's PowerMonitor Plus solution in an effort to automate deficiency tracking and reporting for its out-patient clinics.

By integrating with the group's dictation, transcription and electronic signature applications, PowerMonitor Plus can track documents without the need for manual data entry, says the New York-based company. In addition, Meta Health says its solution enables staff to produce management reports and notifications to physicians regarding deficient records, such as those missing signatures or missing documents.

University of Minnesota Physicians is a multi-specialty physician organization based in Minneapolis.
