South Nassau Communities Hospital (Oceanside, N.Y.) has implemented New York City-based Meta’s Electronic Physician Query software.

According to the company, the product is integrated with the hospital’s current Meta applications for chart abstracting and electronic signature and enables it to track queries by physician, by type of query and by DRG, and monitor physician response rates.

South Nassau Communities Hospital is one of the region’s largest hospitals, with 435 beds, more than 875 physicians and 2,600 employees. The hospital is an acute-care, not-for-profit teaching hospital.
