The Greater Ocala Health Information Trust Inc. (dba Healthy Ocala and Greater Marion County) has chosen Newton, Mass.-based PatientKeeper’s platform for integrating its health systems across the greater Ocala, Fla. region.

PatientKeeper say its product will give physicians anywhere-anytime access to patient information, and will integrate data from a PHR with data from Marion County community health information system.

Designed to improve quality of care at hospitals by giving physicians unified access to patient data and workflow tools they can work with from anywhere, the company says its product can be accessed using a Smartphone, mobile device, or Web browser. The user interface provides secure access to lab and test results, medication histories, allergies and vital signs.
