U.K. Hospital Gets Imaging Facelift

King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes, an acute care facility based in London, is implementing radiology information systems (RIS), PACS and computed radiography (CR) solutions from Agfa HealthCare (Mortsel, Belgium).

Over the next two months, Agfa will install its IMPAX RIS, IMPAX PACS and CR 35-X Digitizers with NX workstations in the hospital in an effort to help transform information workflow, improve efficiency and productivity and deliver high-quality services to staff and patients, according to the company.

Established in 1899, King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes is a private, independent hospital, registered with the Healthcare Commission and recognized by Investors in People.
