St. Charles Chooses Velocity for Back Office Technology Operations

New York-based Velocity Technology Solutions Inc. a cloud-based enterprise software hosting, application management, and consulting services provider, announced today that it was selected by the St. Charles Health System to host and fully-manage its Lawson enterprise resource planning applications and Kronos time and labor management applications. Velocity's experience in supporting the Lawson and Kronos applications, as well as its partnership with both software providers, were driving forces behind St. Charles' decision.

St. Charles Health System, Inc., Central Oregon's sole health delivery system, is a private not-for-profit corporation and the largest employer with more than 3,000 caregivers in Bend, Redmond, and Prineville. Headquartered in Bend, the St. Charles Health System, owns and operates medical centers in Bend and Redmond, leases and operates Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville, and provides management services for Mountain View Hospital in Madras. There are more than 350 active medical staff members and nearly 200 visiting medical staff members who provide a wide range of care and services to central Oregon communities.

Velocity provides managed services for nearly 200 organizations operating Lawson Software and Kronos applications. The Velocity On-Demand framework provides a cloud-enabled software deployment platform specifically designed to help organizations rapidly realize the business value and benefit of their software investment.
