The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, based in Tampa Fla., has selected Azyxxi, Microsoft's health enterprise platform, to aid in its development of personalized cancer treatment programs.

According to Microsoft, Azyxxi will be used to assimilate large quantities of data, including electrocardiograms, magnetic resonance imaging scans, dynamic angiograms, ultrasound images and, ultimately, genomic information, providing a visual gateway for access to the information, and allowing researchers to make and prove their hypotheses.
