Tupelo, Miss.-based North Mississippi Medical Center is deploying the infection control and pharmacy modules of Charlotte, N.C.-based Premier’s SafetySurveillor.

The Center will utilize SafetySurveillor to track and prevent healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and optimize antibiotic use, according the company.

North Mississippi is the third largest rural healthcare system in the nation, serving 22 counties in north Mississippi and northwest Alabama.
